PROGRAMS
BIKES FOR BOOKS :  Working with the South Lane County School District, and other local Schools, we are sponsoring the Bikes for Books  reading incentive program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade, to encourage students to read.  Students, at their own grade level, read toward a goal of 13 teacher approved books beginning in January and ending in May of each year. The students then have their names placed into a drawing for a new bike and helmet, given at the end of the school year. At this time we have 5 participating schools and gave away 10 bikes and helmets last year.
FOOD DRIVE :  During the year, the Masonic Lodge Members bring  canned and boxed  foods to each of our meetings, and at the end of the year, we donate it to Community Sharing and it stays in our local area.
